Kallico Security Systems Support was developed to assist the DIY 'er in designing, installing, programming and maintaining their Ademco home security systems. Ademco, now owned by Honeywell does not give support to homeowners.

On the internet now, you can find Ademco equipment sold directly to the homeowner. This can save the homeowner hundreds of dollars on the cost of having the Ademco system installed. However, some of these company's do not provide support after the sale and Ademco, now Honeywell does not give support directly to homeowners. This site was developed because of the need for support to homeowners and technicians alike.

If you have a security system and it's under warranty, contact the company with which you have a contract. You paid for their service, so make them honor it.
If your warranty has expired, you can either contact the same company that installed the system, or another company and have them send a repair person.
You will be obligated to pay for their fees, including labor, parts and the trip to your house.

This site was created to save you the aggrivation and cost of having someone come to your home. Many techs work on different systems. If you see a security tech walk into your house & immediately pick up a phone, beware. He has most likely forgot what to do, or is completely lost before he even starts. Just because he works for a security company, does not mean he knows what he is doing. You would be amazed at calls I have gotten from technicians that do not even know how to work a voltmeter - the most essential tool a technician can have.
